The majority of the daily entries for the diaries kept by Harry Colebourn from 1914-1918 have been transcribed. Harry kept two diaries for 1915; the main diary for 1915 has been transcribed completely while tthe 1915 Royal Exchange Assurance Diary has been transcribed to fill in the gaps in the main 1915 diary.

The transcriptions of the diaries attempt to be a faithful representation of Harry Colebourn's writings.  His spellings, idiosyncratic captialization and place names have been retained.  Any speculations about the words being transcribed have been placed in square brackets.
